Asset Bundle Helper

Hey Folks:

Here’s the Asset Bundle Tool we discussed at Unite 2012. This is an alpha so let us know if anything acts up. Look for an update in the coming weeks.

    I get this error when I import the package:
    Assets/AssetBundleHelper/Editor/AssetBundleListingEditor.cs(174,39): error CS1502: The best overloaded method match for `UnityEditor.BuildPipeline.BuildAssetBundleExplicitAssetNames(UnityEngine.Object[], string[], string, out uint, UnityEditor.BuildAssetBundleOptions, UnityEditor.BuildTarget)’ has some invalid arguments

      I had the same, go to to the line in question and comment out /*, bOpts*/. Also I needed to go to AssetBundleListing.cs fil and change this line: public List assets; to this; public List assets = new List();

      Finally in AssetBundleListingEditor.cs I added “babOpts |= BuildAssetBundleOptions.UncompressedAssetBundle;” right after the “if (!listing.compressed)” line (line 170). So you can choose to compress or not. However I have not testet the created bundles yet, since im nowhere that far in my project yet.. đŸ˜‰

    I tried to build a scene with its dependencies , but I get this error : Asset bundles cannot include scenes. is it possible to somehow build a scene and replace it with the current scene so you don’t have to position assets with code?
